The Ministry of Education of the Federative Republic of Brazil (MEC) has formed an organizing committee for the follow-up meeting of the Regional Conference on Higher Education (CRES+5) in which the various agents involved in higher education in Brazil are represented: the Secretariat for Higher Education (SESu) of the Ministry of Education; the Secretariat for Professional and Technological Education (Setec); the Secretariat of Continuing Education, Youth and Adult Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion (Secadi); the International Advisory (AI) of the Ministry of Education; the Executive Secretariat (SE) of the Ministry of Education; and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). Also members of the organizing committee are the UNESCO National Office in Brazil and the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (UNESCO IESALC), the Latin American and Caribbean Higher Education Area (ENLACES), the National Associations and Councils of Directors of Higher Education Institutions (ANDIFES, ABRUC, ABRUEM, CONIF and CRUB), student and union representatives of education workers (UNE, ANPG, ANDES-SN, PROIFES, FASUBRA) and FAUBAI. The Commission is coordinated by the Deputy Executive Secretary of the MEC. SESu and CAPES are responsible for the logistics and operation of the event.
